This policy explains what personal data Wollaston Minerals Ltd collects through wollastonminerals.com, why, and your rights. We apply the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Wollaston Minerals Ltd, 4th Floor, Ebene Skies, Rue de l'Institut, Ebene, Mauritius (File No. 239125 GBC). Contact for any privacy question: info@wollastonminerals.com.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, company, business email, country, product of interest, volume and message. We use them to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage the business relationship. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which forwards it to our inbox.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email address (and company, if you give it) to send our monthly market notes. Legal basis: your consent, which you confirm by email and can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link. The newsletter is sent with MailerLite.
- Website analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics measures visits (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). We use it to understand how the site is used. Legal basis: your consent. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
- Hosting. Our host, Netlify, processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses analytics cookies only after you accept them. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
International transfers
Some of our providers (Google, Netlify, Web3Forms, MailerLite) may process data outside Mauritius and the European Economic Area. They do so under contractual safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Enquiries and related correspondence: as long as needed for the business relationship and our legal and accounting obligations. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@wollastonminerals.com. You may also complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius or, if you are in the EU or EEA, to your local data protection authority.
